One morning I was craving pancakes, but not just any pancakes. This place was suggested and nearby, so I tried them. They had the exact pancakes I wanted and I left a happy girl. I'm sure I'll be back for them again.

The food is really good. I had chicken tenders and the fries and tenders were so yummy. Their shakes are also rlly good and my friend had a single pancake and it was huge. I'm surprised it's not more popular but I've never been on a weekend so maybe it is. Really cute original diner vibes as well. Parking can be tough though.

A wave of nostalgia envelopes you at Fred 62's. This corner restaurant has a very original vibe that isn't manufactured but created by the patrons. It just a very lived in place that offers a great selection of dishes at all hours of the day. I stopped in for a weekday breakfast with co-workers and we had the following: * Chunky Monkey shake (thick and delicious) * OG Fairfax High (poached eggs, salmon, tomato, onions, cream cheese) * Cali Love Burger * B.L.T.A. We took several booths and received great service from the moment we sat down. Our meals arrived quickly and in generous servings too. Its been awhile since I smiled so much, but Fred's holds special memories for me. It's been many years since I was last here, and when I came around it was always after midnight. The midnight vibe is much different from the morning workplace vibe, but the service and the food is still just as fresh and delicious. Parking is available across the street in the public parking lot or on the street. Enjoy your visit!

A lot of vegan options, the waitress said she can make anything on the menu vegan. Except no vegan pancakes. Want to go back and try the vegan shakes.

I love this place. Yep. Used to come for years during, late nights. Non- chain, indy locals, vibes. The food is delicious! Mostly everything here is consistent and good. Diner style food but elevated. Bomb breakfast options and fantastic sandwiches and burgers. Those punk tarts are a sweet treat! So I came back recently and ordered the Santa Fe Frittata. Its a flavor bomb with pasilla chiles, chorizo, and scrambled eggs over a bed of tortillas chips. The dish is hearty and light at the same time. The service here is always consistent and warm. This place is on of my go to list, so check it out!

Wonderful service and great food! Came in for Sunday breakfast and was more than satisfied. All around solid offerings, and we were able to grab a table inside despite it being busy. Personally, I love a sausage patty and this one was juicy and hearty. Pretty good portion size and although it was a basic breakfast nothing was lacking. The bearded french toast was also great. Nothing fancy here. Great move popping in for a morning bite.

Got late night diner cravings after a concert in the area and decided to give this place a shot! With the bright neon lights and the 80s theme, it was kinda hard to miss on our way over! Surprisingly, we weren't the only ones hungry at 12am and the restaurant was full! We were able to nab some seats after 10 minutes and our waiter Mario really helped us make our final decisions on entrees. The food came out and being quite starved, we scarfed down the food with pleasure. The burger bun was an interesting choice for the smash burger but overall the meal was okay. We still had room for dessert so we ordered the hot cookie bomb! First time it came out, the cookie tasted old and burnt so we asked Mario to help us out and we were treated to a fresh cookie 5 minutes later! His attentiveness really elevated our first time experience here and though the food was okay, I would definitely come back to be served by him again!
